Benjamin Logan had a tough time cracking the Jonathan Alder defense Friday as the Raiders dropped a 44-29 decision to the host Pioneers in a Central Buckeye Conference boys basketball game.
The Pioneers are now 12-3 on the season and stay atop the CBC Kenton Trail division at 7-0. The Raiders fall to 5-11, 1-6.
The score was deadlocked 10-10 after the opening period, but the Pioneers began to take control in the second quarter. They opened up a sixpoint lead (23-17) at halftime and led 26-22 after three quarters.
