The best leaders influence behind the scenes, student speakers reminded their peers Wednesday during the annual convocation ceremony at the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center.

Jadzia Café, an electronics engineering student from Riverside High School, and Hi-Point’s top academic student, encouraged her fellow graduates to “follow intentionally,” and develop relationships to build influence.
“By choosing career tech education we have already affirmed that we’re not afraid of putting in the hard work,” she said. “We’re not afraid to be a part of a team and work behind the scenes.”
