Jo Anne Harman, 86, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 7:58 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Mary Rutan Hospital.
She was born in Logan County on Aug. 23, 1929, to the late John Wesley and Juanita Williams Clingerman.
On Nov. 25, 1948, she married Floyd L. Harman and he preceded her in death Dec. 4, 1996. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Clingerman and John Jr. “Junie” Clingerman; and special friend, Ray Close.
Survivors include three sons, Steve (Beth) Harman, Jeff (Lisa) Harman and Chris (Cheryl) Harman, all of Bellefontaine; two daughters, Diana (Greg) Skidmore of Belle Center and Beci (Mike) Morris of Bellefontaine; grandchildren, Chad (Nikki) Morris, Lori Newman, Jason (Amy) Harman, Shauna (Keith) Mazique, Wes (Kristen) Harman, Erin (Ben) Gillig, Joe Harman, Dustin Harman, Chelsea Harman, Shelby (Tyler) Knox, Kinsey Harman and Katie Harman; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Jo Anne was a retired mail carrier and bus driver. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bellefontaine, a lifetime Grange member and Farm Bureau member. Jo Anne loved flowers and especially spending time with family.
Pastor Michele Garver officiates a funeral at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 13, at the First United Methodist Church, 201 N. Main St., Bellefontaine. Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine. A private family burial is in Highland Cemetery, West Liberty.
