Jack R. Flesher Jr., 52, of Bellefontaine, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016, in Mary Rutan Hospital.
He was born January 15, 1964, in Columbus, a son of Jack R. Flesher Sr. and Peggy West Flesher, who survive, along with his daughters, Nicki (Andrew) Drake of Quincy, Angelena (Nathan) Walker of Jackson Center and Jaclyn (Stephen Haley) Flesher of Oak Hill; his son, Jac (Juvielyn) Flesher of Harrison Township, Mich.; his grandchildren, Skyler, Ashton, Landon, Brayden, Jeremiah, Alaina, Kenadie, Bryleigh, Liam and one on the way; sisters, Shelley Flesher and Krystal Brown; brother, Skip Barnes; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dick and Dorothy Flesher and William and Rosa Mae West; son, Tyler James Flesher; and his friend and mother of his children, Jan Wright.
In his younger years, Jack enjoyed racing cars throughout Ohio. He loved to read his Bible and was a devout Catholic.
Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 25, in the Vernon Funeral Home, Urbana, and one hour prior to a funeral at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 26, officiated by Pastor Ron Irick. Burial is in Fairview Cemetery, Quincy.
