David J. Cole, 50, of Leipsic, was charged with illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse into a detention facility and possession of drugs related to a Saturday evening incident at the
Logan County Jail, 284 S. County Road 32, Bellefontaine.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report Cole was being booked into the jail that evening on a warrant. About 9:35 p.m., corrections officers reported that during the showering portion of the booking, a baggie containing a crystal-like substance was found on Cole’s person.
The substance reportedly field-tested positive for methamphetamine. It will be sent to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation for further testing.
Corrections officers said the body scan of the defendant, conducted earlier in the booking process, had not revealed anything foreign in his body at the time.
Disorderly conduct arrest reported
Lislie D. Dildine, 39, of 11671 Viola Lane, Lakeview, was charged with disorderly conduct relating to an incident Sunday evening.
Deputies responded about 7:50 p.m. to the area of 10984 Ash St., Lakeview, in reference to a suspicious person. They were informed that a male subject was reportedly walking through backyards and had gone into a wooded area.
Deputies located Dildine in the 200 block of Stephenson Street, who said he was on his way to see a friend. While speaking to him, deputies noticed that he had trouble standing still and was sweating profusely. He was a placed under arrest and was lodged in the jail.
