The Indian Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is looking for contestants for the annual pageants set for Saturday, July 2, at Old Field Beach.
The pageants begin at 11 a.m. with the beach baby and beach toddler contest for up to 18 months, and 19 months to 2 years, respectively, where the child wears a swim suit or beach attire. The photo and $20 entry fee must accompany the application and may include a sponsor.
Ages 3 to 5 compete for Mr. or Miss Firecracker in a patriotic costume contest. Pictures are required with the $25 application and may include a sponsor.
Little Miss Indian Lake applications are for ages 6 to 9, Jr. Miss Indian Lake contestants are ages 10 to 13, and Miss Indian Lake is for ages 14 to 18. Contestants for these groups are required to have dress up/formal wear plus a patriotic outfit. A picture must accompany the $25 application as they will be judged for miss photogenic honors.
The application deadline is June 17. Applications and photos may be dropped off at the Indian Lake Chamber of Commerce, Choice Properties Real Estate or the Aries Pharmacy. Applications are available at www.indianlakechamber.org
