Indian Lake’s girls basketball team held on for a 52-46 win over visiting Graham on Wednesday during a Central Buckeye Conference meeting.
“This is as close as we have come to playing a complete game this season,” said IL head coach Nathaniel Tennant. “Our field goal percentage was almost 20 points higher than it has been all season.”
The win improves the Lakers to 2-7 overall and 1-4 in the CBC, while the Falcons slip to 1-8, 1-4.
The score was knotted at 13-13 after the opening quarter. Indian Lake inched ahead in the second quarter with a 9-7 effort. That gave the Lakers a 22-20 advantage entering halftime.
