‘State of District’ report presented
The Indian Lake School Board approved a lease agreement Monday that will guarantee a $96,000-a-year revenue stream for the next 30 years and got a snapshot of the district’s position going in to the start of a new school year.
The new revenue, which will amount to nearly $3 million over the life of the agreement, comes from leasing unused broadband radio frequencies to the communications company Clearwire Spectrum Holdings, which is a division of Sprint, Superintendent Pat O’Donnell explained.
