A suspect in an Aug. 8 stabbing in West Mansfield was apprehended Monday at his father’s residence in Quincy.
James O. Barker, 31, at large, was arrested on warrants for felonious assault with a deadly weapon and violating probation.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department found him at the residence of James “Skull” Barker, 318 E. Main St. around 12:25 p.m.
He is the second suspect charged in the 3 a.m. Aug. 8 attack in the 200 block of Highland Street that hospitalized Michael L. Murray, 29, of Springfield. The victim has since been released after treatment at Mary Rutan Hospital and then Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
Randy C. Thomas-Burdiss, 22, of 813 Heritage Court, Apt. 49, was arrested Aug. 8 at his home and was charged with attempted felonious assault.
Mr. Barker was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
