Indian Lake’s wrestling team pulled out a 42-36 win over host Benjamin Logan on Wednesday in a quick local dual held at Benjamin Logan Middle School.
There were eight matches contested out of 14 weight classes and all were decided by pin in 1:46 or less. Six matches were decided in under a minute.
The Lakers won three of those eight matches and picked up four forfeits.
For Indian Lake, Nate Cummins (145) pinned Collin Hill in 19 seconds, Wyatt Daisy (160) pinned Aiden Elsass in 1:35 and Lane Mefford (182) pinned Connor Whitt in 55 seconds.
Picking up forfeits for the Lakers were Jackson Young (132), Hayden Pummel (170), Joey Scarberry (195) and Carter Peoples (220).
Ben Logan saw Levi Hunter (120) pin Brody Parsell in 31 seconds, Owen O’Brien (126) pin Tony Cummins in 44 seconds, Chase LeVan (138) pin Gavynn Lowery in 1:46, Matthew Beikman (152) pin Ryan Culp in 36 seconds and Cadman Roose (285) pin Dylan Valerio in 1:06.
The Raiders Kade Thomas (113) added a forfeit.
Ben Logan is back on the mat Saturday at the Versailles Duals. Indian Lake is off until Dec. 23 when it travels to the Butler Duals.
