Two Indian Lake Middle School students are being recognized at the state level for their artwork during March, which is Youth Art Month.
Aurora Skryabina Goslee, a sixth-grader, was selected as an honored artist for the 41st Annual Youth Art Month Exhibition.
Seventh-grader Chazlance Moore was chosen as an honored artist for the 41st Annual Young People’s Art Exhibition.
Both events are sponsored by the Ohio Art Education Association with each exhibition featuring 81 works of art from students in grade K through eight across Ohio.
There are eight regions in Ohio representing the OAEA.
Indian Lake Middle School art teacher Rebecca Dotson, along with Aurora and Chazlance, will be honored during the first ever Virtual Young People’s Art Exhibition and Youth Art Month Receptions.
Students will receive their Artist Prize Packet by mail in early March, in time for the virtual reception.
