Six Indian Lake High School Business Professionals of America students will advance to the State BPA Awards during March as a result of their performances at the recent BPA Regional Awards Assembly at the University of Northwestern Ohio.
Students who are advancing for their first- and second-place awards at the regional competition include: Jenni Kaffenbarger, first place, fundamental accounting; Kale Shoffner, second, fundamental accounting; Delaney Woods, first, advanced accounting; Aubrey Grider, second; advanced accounting; Lindsey Berg, first, business law and ethics; Cameron Daniels, second, business law and ethics.
Other finishes at the regional event included Tiffany Clark, sixth place in the fundamental accounting; and in business law and ethics, Delaney Woods was third, Jenni Kaffenbarger placed fifth and Kale Shoffner took sixth.
Delaney Woods was also a Merit Winner for Financial Math and Analysis Concepts.
A total of 16 ILHS students submitted projects at the regional competition.
