Several Indian Lake High School students recently achieved success in various events during the Region 16 Business Professionals of America Competition, where a total of 26 ILHS students entered projects in 34 categories.
A few students also took in-person tests on the campus of Ohio Northern University.
Gavin Bailey won first place in Business Law and Ethics, while Lukas Schwieterman took fifth and Hannah Metzger sixth. Reid Vance was seventh, Lane McPherson ninth and Lexi Lones took tenth to round out the category.
KaLynn Miller scored second place in Fundamental Word Processing, while Caleb Wurster placed 4th and Paige Kindle-Wyne placed fifth.
In Fundamental Accounting, Easton Klauer took second, Shania Fruchey was fourth and KaLynn Miller was ninth. Shania Fruchey also placed third in Intermediate Word Processing.
Klauer, Miller, Wurster and Fruchey advance to the State BPA Competition in March.
