Green Hills Center in West Liberty has been designated a “Top Performing” facility by U.S. News following an analysis of data posted by the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
“It’s nice to be recognized for the quality work that is provided by our staff,” said Mike Ray, president/CEO of Green Hills. “Their commitment to the residents shows in the work that they do day-in and day out,”.
U.S. News assigned each facility a rating ranging from 1.0 to 5.0, and Green Hills received a 5.0. Only 15 percent of the facilities that U.S. News rated achieved “Top Performing” status by earning a rating of at least 4.5. Top-performing homes are eligible to display a U.S. News-trademarked 2017-18 Best Nursing Homes badge on their websites, in advertisements, on plaques and in other media
Nursing home performance was evaluated over time, by averaging monthly data over a year. To receive a high rating, homes had to provide “significantly more than the required minimum of rehabilitation therapy to residents who had been classified as having received high levels of rehabilitative services.”
