A regional forum is planned for the Ohio Sexual Violence Helpline from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at the Logan County District Library, 220 N. Main St., Bellefontaine.
The helpline was launched April 8 by the OhioHealth Sexual Assault Response Network of Central Ohio in partnership with the Ohio Alliance to End Sexual Violence and the Attorney General’s office to ensure that every survivor across the state of Ohio has access to a 24/7, confidential resource for crisis intervention, emotional support, and information about local resources available.
The purpose of this forum is to provide details of the statewide helpline, answer questions about services and engage in discussion about available resources in the community, and details on how to best serve survivors.
Direct questions to Natasha Larson at [email protected] or Jes Mayhew at [email protected].
