Eugene Siegel, 79, of Sidney, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018, at Ohio Living Dorothy Love in Sidney.
He was born July 22, 1939, in Anna, the son of the late Edward and Mildred Poling Siegel.
Survivors include his wife, the former Joyce Ann Legge whom he married Aug. 23, 1959; daughters, Lisa (John) Beigel and Jill (Dave) Richards, both of Sidney; grandchildren, Angie (Josh) Ross, Derek (Abigail) Richards, Danielle Richards, Andy (Lesley) Beigel and Kristin Beigel; great-grandchildren, Burke Ross and Baylor Ross.
He also was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Stroud.
He was a 1958 graduate of Quincy High School and retired from Alcoa Building Products after 33 years. A member of Trinity Church of the Brethren in Sidney, he enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and was a jack of all trades who could fix anything. He loved being at home and spending time with family and his cat, Mittens.
Calling is from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Friday, Sept. 28, at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney, where funeral services are at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29. Pastor Brent Driver officiates and burial will be at 2 p.m. in Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty.
