Indian Lake’s boys basketball team could not slow down Kenton Ridge and its senior standout Tyler Eberhart on Tuesday.
Eberhart, the Central Buckeye Conference’s leading scorer at 20 points per game, had 25 points to lead the Cougars to a 61-46 victory over the visiting Lakers in a CBC crossover game.
The Lakers slide to 10-7 on the season as the Cougars move to 12-4.
Kenton Ridge led 18-11 after the opening quarter. The Cougars pushed their lead to 15 points (35-20) by halftime.
The Cougars stayed in control during the second half. They led 47-31 at the end of the third period.
Austin Parker sparked Indian Lake with 17 points, Nate Reichert had 10 points and Clay Jacobs added seven points.
In junior varsity action, Kenton Ridge raced past Indian Lake 69-37. Logan Evans led the Lakers with 15 points.
Indian Lake travels to North Union on Friday for a key CBC Mad River division matchup.
