• Quest Community Church EGGStravaganza — Saturday, March 23, registration starts at 9:45 a.m., event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; 110 South St., West Liberty; free activities for kids up to fifth-grade, parents or caregivers must accompany children; Easter Jam begins at 10:05, 10:45, 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., where attendees receive ticket to attend Easter egg hunt; other activities include fishing wall, fire truck, police cars, cupcake walk, cookie decorating, petting zoo, face painting.
• Zanesfield United Methodist Church Easter egg hunt — Good Friday, March 29, starting at 6 p.m., 2880 Main St., Zanesfield, all ages welcome; K9 Tega from Logan County Sheriff’s Office will be on site with Deputy Core, along with Tri-Valley Fire Department fire truck; gift card prizes offered, hot dogs served.
• Bellefontaine Exchange Club’s annual Easter egg hunt — Noon Saturday, March 30, Mary Rutan Park, no pre-registration required, children ages 12 and under invited to participate.
• RushChurch Easter bunny breakfast, egg hunt — Saturday, March 30, breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m., free egg hunt at 10:15 a.m. for children ages sixth-grade and younger.
• Huntsville Community Easter Egg Hunt — 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at Lions Park in Huntsville.
• Piatt Castle’s Historical Easter Customs — 4 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 10051, Township Road 47, West Liberty; free intergenerational event offering participants the chance to to both hide and search for eggs; enjoy an Easter egg roll like the one first played at the White House lawn when Ohioan Rutherford B. Hayes was President; other activities include popular German and Irish Easter egg games described in the 1880s American Girls and Boys Handy Books; inside the historic house museum, children will be invited to make an Easter card pictured in the Handy Books and to color another from the Piatt family collection; in case of rain, outdoor activities will be adapted for play under tents; sponsored by the Mac-A-Cheek Foundation for the Humanities (MFH) with support from the Mary Eleanor Morris Fund of the Columbus Foundation and Historical Holiday Series Sponsor, Jeffrey Glebocki.
