Danielle R. Durant, 23, of 541 Cooper Ave., was charged Wednesday with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and possession of marijuana.
She also was cited for having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
Around 7 p.m., officers arrived at 116 West St. and found her passed out behind the wheel of a car parked in the driveway. The car’s engine was still running.
Officers roused her and noted an odor of alcohol while talking with her. Field sobriety tests indicated she was impaired by alcohol. A bag of marijuana was found in the car along with two open cans of alcoholic beverages.
Her breathalyzer sample was 0.154.
• Hazel M. Whitaker, 41, of Kenton, was charged Tuesday with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs while passenger Lucas Johns, 36, of 536 E. Chillicothe Ave., was charged with having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
She was stopped around 1:45 a.m. after she drove at an officer on patrol on Rush Avenue with her high beams on. Once stopped, the officer detected an odor of alcohol and noticed she was slurring her speech.
Field sobriety tests indicated she was impaired by alcohol but she refused to provide a breathalyzer sample. She has two prior OVI convictions, officers noted in the report.
An open can of beer was found next to Johns and there were 30 or more unopened cans in the car.
