Isaac Hurley, 37, of Lewistown, was charged with failure to comply with the order of signal of a police officer as a result of an incident Friday evening.
Officers of the Washington Township Police Department on patrol about 11:30 p.m. in the area of State Route 366 and State Route 708 in Russells Point observed that Hurley had a suspended license and attempted to initiate a traffic stop with his vehicle.
However, officers said the vehicle continued to travel eastbound on S.R. 366 toward the spillway, clearly disregarding the patrol car with lights and siren activated.
Hurley eventually pulled into the Whispering Valley Mobile Home Park, where he was ordered out of the vehicle and was placed under arrest.
The defendant told officers he did not want to stop until he made it home. He was then transported to Logan County Jail and also was cited for driving without a license, a 12-point license suspension and a failure to reinstate suspension.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office and officers of the Russells Point Police Department assisted in the short pursuit.
