Mark A. Satterly, 39, of 8854 Prince Road, Lakeview, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs during a traffic stop about 11:20 p.m. Monday.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office reportedly observed marked lanes viola- tions with his vehicle in the area of State Route 235 and Township Road 293 and initiated the stop.
Deputies observed that Satterly showed signs of intoxication, and he admitted to con- suming “three beers” at his father’s house. When asked to complete a field sobriety test, he agreed and said, “I’ll ace your sobriety tests.”
After failing the test, the defendant was placed under arrest. While en route to the Logan County Jail, he reportedly became bel- ligerent with deputies, asking them to pull off on side roads and remove his handcuffs “so we can settle this like men.”
At the jail, he refused to take a breath test. He also was cited for a marked lanes violation.
