Dr. Edward G. Cerwinsky, 78, of West Liberty, went home to be with his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, in Mary Rutan Hospital, ICU, Bellefontiane.
He was born in Canton, Ohio on July 21, 1943, the son of the late Fred A. and Berchyie (Johnson) Cerwinsky. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ted Cerwinsky.
On May 8, 1964, he married Carol (Schar) Cerwinsky and she survives in West Liberty.
He is also survived by three children; Dr. Edward G. (Christie) Cerwinsky II of Ft. Myers, FL, Dr. Amanda (Aaron) Jerviss of Knoxville, TN, and Dr. Derrick (Lisa) Cerwinsky of Xenia, OH, six grandchildren; Trey & Jackson Cerwinsky, Millie & Lydia Jerviss, and Elizabeth & Sara Cerwinsky, a brother Fred Cerwinsky of Canton and several nieces and nephews.
Dr. Cerwinsky was a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and worked as a Dr. of Chiropractic for 50 years in Lakeview & Huntsville, Ohio before his retirement. He served as Past President of both the Chiropractic Association of Ohio and the Indian Lake Chamber of Commerce. He was a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner. He was a member of Millcreek Church of Christ, Raymond, OH and he led a men’s Bible study at Arby’s for many years. He was a hard worker, loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family, his patients, and sailing.
Pastor Dave LaDuke will officiate a private graveside service in Macochee Cemetery, Monroe Township. A celebration of life service is being planned for early 2022.
