Donnovan Klinger, 80, of Belle Center, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018, at his home. He was born Dec. 7, 1937, in Lima, a son of the late Robert and Lois Luke Klinger.
He was a 1955 graduate of Belle Center High School and was a veteran of the United States Army stationed in Korea from 1955 to 1958. He retired from Rockwell after 30 years of service and served as union president before his retirement. He enjoyed spending his winters in Florida for the past 23 years.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Lois Ann Richardson Klinger; children, Lori (Tony) Elliott, Eric (Cheryl) Klinger and Bill (Jill) Klinger; daughter-in-law, Polly Klinger; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren with two on the way; his siblings, Gary (Sandy) Klinger, Jerry Klinger, Wayne (Carol) Klinger and Ronnie Klinger; brother-in-law, Ben (Jean) Richardson; and several nieces and nephews.
He also was preceded in death by his son, Randy Klinger; and siblings, Raymond Klinger, Dennis Klinger and Peg Franz.
A memorial service begins at noon Thursday, May 10, at the Belle Center United Presbyterian Church with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.
