Students had to set and level new posts, set the frame work and install top deck boards.
Various pieces of equipment were utilized by the students, including a skid steer with a post pounder attachment, saws, drills and other small tools in order to engineer this project.
The dock was part of a service-learning project that is completed by the FFA students each year.
The purpose of the service project is to provide an opportunity for the chapter members to be involved in community development and demonstrate the skills necessary in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating it.
