The purpose of the four-hour exercise was to explore the readiness of all components within Logan County to carry on its business should a natural or man-made disaster occur. Disaster scenarios included a tornado, a train derailment leaking toxic chemicals and a cyber attack. Benedetti expressed appreciation to all of the participants, stating that many of those scenarios could easily happen tomorrow and thanking the leaders for their suggestions on how to communicate with county associates and other first responders. He also thanked Aunalytics for facilitating the exercise for the county. (SUBMITTED PHOTO)
