With West Liberty’s bicentennial celebration just around the corner, operators of a new antique mall are hoping to draw in a host of people who share their own fascination with the unique.
“It would be hard for me to pinpoint the most unique,” Mitch Lingrell, who operates LT’s Uniquities for his wife Lynetta Tevis, said of the 115 W. Baird St. mall that currently has 11 dealers.
“Each of our dealers picks so eclectically. If you don’t have good dealers, you don’t have business period. But if you surround yourself with good dealers, you will get return customers.”
The 1,800-square-foot antique mall opened in late 2016 and Lingrell said he has been increasing his dealer base since that time, with a goal of having about 15 total dealers. Lingrell said he grew up visiting the building, which was formerly Yoder’s Aluminum, and knew it was the perfect place to run an antique business when Willie Yoder put it up for sale recently.
