The Rushsylvania Village Council discussed at their Monday evening meeting information received from the Cleveland Collection Agency regarding taxpayers who failed to comply with the CCA Prosecutor Notice Program regarding their delinquent village municipal income tax.
The CCA Prosecutor Notices are mailed each year in November to taxpayers with outstanding delinquent assessments that have reached the end of their billing cycles. The taxpayers on the list did not appear as required, did not make arrangements to pay their outstanding assessments for their municipality, or failed to pay on these arrangements.
These accounts have been turned over for prosecution, village officials said.
