Deborah “Debbie” Ann Thaman, 67, of Sidney, passed away Monday evening, Jan. 29, 2018, at Miami Valley Hospital.
She was born Nov. 10, 1950, in Bellefontaine, a daughter of the late Jack and Rose Carey Tracey.
She is survived by two daughters, Alicia (Edwin) Rittenhouse and Erica (Garrett) Presser, both of Sidney; two grandchildren, Madison Rittenhouse and Ensley Presser; significant other, Tom Burk of Sidney; and two siblings, Cathy Ackley of Springfield and Terry Tracey of Lakeview. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Jimmy and Jack Tracey.
Mrs. Thaman was a Sidney High School graduate. She was employed by CVS for the past 15 years as a pharmacy tech.
Debbie did everything for her girls and she lived and loved her grandchildren. She enjoyed many years in the bowling league at Bel-Mar Lanes. Her happy place was a deck on the beach at Emerald Isle, N.C.
A memorial service begins at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4 at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., Sidney, following calling that begins at 1 p.m. Pastor Harry Peterson officiates.
