Eleanor Jeanne Zupp, 92, a resident of Campbell Place, fell asleep in death at 1:50 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at Logan Acres Care Center, where she had been recovering from a recent fall.
She was born in Belle Center on Aug. 7, 1925, to the late Harley and Anna Mae Randall Berry.
On March 4, 1944, she married J. Donn Zupp and he preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Mary.
Mourning her passing is a son, Jeffery Zupp of Columbus; a daughter, Debra (David) Dipple of Greenwood, S.C.; grandchildren, Todd Dipple, Chad (Stephanie) Dipple and Amy (Aaron) Scott; three great-grandchildren, Ciara, Landon and Gavin Dipple; three nieces; one nephew; and many friends.
Jeanne was a long-time member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Bellefontaine, Mary Rutan Hospital Guild and LaCultura Club. She loved traveling, playing cards with her friends and spending time with her family. Her smile, sense of humor, along with her self-sacrificing and giving spirit, will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Campbell Place who extended themselves to care so compassionately for Jeanne and make it her home.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine, where the Rev.
Kenneth Locke officiates a memorial service at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3. Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery at a later date.
