Riverside’s girls basketball team battled past visiting Hardin Northern 42-31 on Thursday to grab a Northwest Central Conference victory.

The Pirates bump their record to 6-13 overall and 3-2 in the NWCC standings, while the Polar Bears are now 9-9 overall and 2-3 in the league.
Marissa Davis recorded a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds to fuel the Riverside win. Courtnie Smith added 11 points.
Riverside took a 12-9 lead after the first quarter and pushed their advantage to 21-13 at halftime.
