Cynthia “Cindy” Sue Corwin, 69, of West Mansfield, Ohio passed away Friday, July 23, 2021, at her home.
Cindy was born in Urbana, Ohio, on August 2, 1951, to the late Erwin Jerry and Helen (Moody) Reisinger and raised by step-mother, Mary Jo Reisinger. She married Jerry H. Corwin on December 30, 1968, and he preceded her in death on April 8, 2018. One brother, Kenny Reisinger also preceded her in death.
Cindy is survived by two sons: Jerry D. (Michelle) Corwin and Jeffrey A. (Andrea) Corwin; nine grandchildren: Josie Sue Marie (Fiancé Zach Allison) Corwin, Joseph Daniel Corwin, Amanda Green, Erin (Max Collins) Fleming, Nick (Alex) Fleming, Hayes Elizabeth Corwin, Philip Jeffrey (Fiancé Morgan Biddle) Corwin, Grace Elaine Corwin, and Eli Allen Corwin; seven great-grandchildren, one great-great child; one sister, Debbie Henry, three brothers; Mike, Donnie and Ronnie Reisinger, and many nieces and nephews.
Cindy retired after 15 years from Siemens. She drove school bus for Benjamin Logan Schools and Ohio Hi-Point. She also drove charter bus. Cindy, along with her husband Jerry owned C & J Pizza in Quincy for 10 years. Cindy trained and rode horses and was a member of the Hardin County Mounted Posse. She was an active member of the VFW and went with the Veterans to D.C. She also was a member of the 69ers alumni class. Cindy loved spending time with her kids and grandkids as well as her animals. She will be greatly missed.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home Belle Center. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hale Cemetery, Mt. Victory.
