A couple was arrested for trespassing and drug and alcohol charges after deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office found them stuck early Saturday on a state park road that is closed to motor vehicles.
Timothy L. Slavin, 22, of 422 Buckeye Ave., Russells Point, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, criminal trespass and public intoxication, while Laney R. Fark, 23, of St. Marys, was taken into custody on a criminal trespassing charge.
During booking at the Logan County Jail, Ms. Fark was found in possession of suspected heroin and syringe, and charges of possession of heroin and drug abuse instruments were added.
• Joseph A. Clementz, 39, of Reynoldsburg, was arrested for public intoxication and criminal trespassing at 11 p.m. Saturday after Jason Minnich reported he found the man inside his 10714 Township Road 293, Lakeview, home.
Mr. Clementz reportedly was heavily intoxicated and had apparently entered the wrong home.
• Travis J. Wooten, 26, of 6132 State Route 245, West Liberty, was arrested late Saturday for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Deputies saw his vehicle stopped in the intersection of Main and Miami streets in DeGraff.
He showed signs of impairment when questioned, and a breath test resulted in a 0.164 blood alcohol content reading.
Domestic violence cases handled
Several men were arrested this weekend for domestic incidents.

• Tony L. Troiano, 18, of 565 N. Oak St., Lakeview, was charged with domestic violence after Briana K. Mohler, 25, of 585 Oakridge, Lakeview, called 911 from the Indian Lake EMS squad house at 6:45 a.m. Saturday.
She reported that Mr. Troiana had been beating her overnight, had broken furniture and took her cell phone so she couldn’t call authorities. She was able to escape the house in the early morning hours and get to the squad house to call authorities.
She had two swollen black eyes and a swollen forehead, deputies report.
Mr. Troiano was located walking on State Route 235 near Leoline Drive and was taken to the Logan County Jail.
• Paul E. Cotterman, 55, of Lima, was arrested at 8:30 p.m. Sunday for domestic violence.
Kathryn Koenig, 54, of Lima, told deputies they both had both been drinking heavily at an Indian Lake establishment and that they began arguing when they returned to their 11377 Township Road 266 property.

• Raymond E. Triplett, 25, of 270 Grove Ave., Lakeview, was charged with disorderly conduct and domestic violence after a 12:25 a.m. Friday incident. He and his wife, Courtney Triplett, 20, had been arguing about extended family members staying in their home when he allegedly pushed her to the ground.
Mr. Triplett had injuries to his hands and face from repeatedly striking a fence.
Neighbor dispute ends in summons.
A summons for trespassing was issued to James M. Collins, of 4220 E. State Route 47, in connection with a dispute with neighboring property owner David Carothers, 1997 County Road 130.
Mr. Carothers reported incidents Thursday regarding a fence he is installing at a 4168 State Route 47 property he owns. He said Mr. Collins went onto the property and put chains and padlocks around the fence.
Mr. Collins disputed the property line and said the fence was his, deputies report.
Injury crash reported
Kaitlyn M. Bailey, 25, of New Carlisle, went by private vehicle to Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney after an 11 p.m. Friday crash near Shelby County.
Deputies report that she was westbound on County Road 63, west of County Road 64, when she went off the right side of the road and overturned.
Damage was heavy and she was cited for failure to control.
