Christine E. Stahler, 56, of Ridgeway, died at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday June 15, 2016, at her residence.
She was born on May 11, 1960, in Kenton, to the late Phillip and Dorothy Wenner Rapp.
On Aug. 7, 1982, she married Kevin Stahler and he survives in Ridgeway, along with two sons, Krane (Elizabeth) Stahler of Kenton and Kyle Stahler of Dayton; three sisters, Bernadette (Stewart) Coats of Ridgeway, Rebecca (Mark) Jones of Bellefontaine and Katherine (Rob) Temple of Kenton; two grandchildren, Kaelynn Stahler and Brantley Stahler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Christine was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Kenton and a Lady of The Knights of Columbus. She enjoyed gardening, baking, camping and fishing. She loved her four-legged son, Bomber, but her deepest love was for her family and she loved to spend time with them, especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
Father David Young officiates a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 18, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Kenton, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Kenton. Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home, Mt. Victory, with a rosary service at 8 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to St.Vincent DePaul Society and to the Knights of Columbus.
