He has found his niche working with wood, steel, ice and stone and started Sculptdecor based in Grandview Heights.
This week he has been working at Steve and Judy Danner’s residence in Monroe Township carving a bear in a blue spruce trunk.
“I’ve got a couple more stumps lined up after this,” the artisan said outside his aunt and uncle’s home. “This will take maybe five days to finish.”
Ice sculptures are another big demand for the West Mansfield native’s talents. Festivals, birthday parties, wedding and other events often want his work as a center piece for the beverage area.
