Carol A. Williams, 74, of Quincy, went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2016, at home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Logan County on Aug. 13, 1941, to the late Earl and Goldie Routt Allmon. She also was preceded in death by her son, Frederick Williams; two grandchildren, Aaron and Ryan Riefstahl; a sister, Ruth Hess; two brothers, Thurman and Kenny Allmon; and a sister-in-law, Mary Brown.
On Aug. 17, 1958, she married Don Williams and he survives, along with their two children, Donald “Donnie” Williams Jr. and Debbie (Keith) Riefstahl; two granddaughters, Tiffany (Jarrod) Fultz and Shelby (David Hess) Riefstahl; a sister, Janet (Gordon) Wilcox; three loving sisters-in-law, Marg Faulder, Sharon Burchett and Donna Williams; and several nieces and nephews.
Carol was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed making crafts and sewing. She was a Past Madam President and Golden Age Eagle member of the Bellefontaine Fraternal Order of Eagles 2166.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 210 W. Hayes St., DeGraff, where a Fraternal Order of Eagles service begins at 7:45 p.m. Pastor Richard Cryder officiates a funeral at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, at the funeral home. Burial is in Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.
