Employees of Grand Rental Station, 936 S. Main St., reported Thursday someone without authorization opened a SuperFleet credit card in the name of the business and made more than $2,300 in unauthorized purchases.
Bicyclist stopped for no lights
James D. Ball Jr., 35, of 106 Pepperbush Drive, was charged Wednesday with possession of marijuana.
He was stopped at 10:50 p.m. on Detroit Street near Brown Avenue for riding a bicycle without lights at night. He had been drinking alcohol and the officer would not let him continue home in his intoxicated state.
The officer recovered a glass pipe and small amount of marijuana during a custodial search of Ball. He was then escorted to a friend’s residence nearby.
Daughter lodged after hitting mom
A 13-year-old Bellefontaine girl was charged with delinquency domestic violence Thursday after she assaulted her mother.
The mother had visible injuries but the girl did not. She was lodged in the Logan County Juvenile Detention Center.
