Bonnie M. Neuenschwander, 76, of Kidron, passed away Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018, at Aultman-Orrville Hospital in Orrville.
She was born in Bellefontaine on Aug. 17, 1942, to the late Wilfred and Frances Yoder Kanagy and married Tilman Neuenschwander on April 10, 1993. He survives.
She retired as the secretary from the Mt. Eaton Care Center and was a member of Sonnenberg Mennonite Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by stepchildren, Jeanette (Dan) King of Dover, Marieda (Gordon) Geiser, Joyce (Ed) Taylor and Donna (Jim) Johnston, all of Kidron, Jolene (TJ) Tennefoss of Greenwood, Del., and Kurtis (Angie) Neuenschwander of Montgomery, Texas; stepdaughter-in-law, Dar (Ray) Yoder of Bellville, Pa.; 25 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; a sister, Patty (LaMar) Holsopple of Sarasota, Fla.; a brother, Willie (Char) Kanagy of Goshen, Ind.; and a brother-in-law, Lowell (Darlene) Shank of Louisville, Ky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by stepsons, Todd and Loren Neuenschwander; a great-grandson, Logan Geiser; and a sister, Sharyn Shank.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, at the Sonnenberg Mennonite Church, 14367 Hackett Road, Kidron, OH 44636 with Pastor Mel Hathaway officiating. Burial will take place prior to services in the church cemetery. Calling is from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1,at the Spidell Funeral Home, 15900 E. Main, Mt. Eaton.
