Benjamin Logan used a big second-quarter run to grab a 34-26 win over visiting Indian Lake in a Central Buckeye Conference girls basketball game Saturday night.
The Raiders improve to 5-6 overall and 2-2 in the CBC. Indian Lake falls to 4-5, 1-3.
Indian Lake, which was playing without three starting guards because of injury, took a 7-4 lead after one quarter.
Ben Logan took the momentum in the second quarter, outscoring the Lakers 16-4 to take a 20-11 lead at halftime.
The Raiders pushed their advantage to 11 points (26-15) after three quarters.
Mia Stahler led the Raiders with 11 points. Cheyanne Peterson had eight points and Elliott Bailey added five points.
Stephanie Altstaetter led the Lakers with 12 points, 20 rebounds and six blocked shots. Makenzie Dixon had five points, 11 rebounds and five assists.
Indian Lake pulled down 47 rebounds, including 17 on the offensive end. But the Lakers shot just 20 percent from the field.
There was no junior varsity game.
Ben Logan returns to action Tuesday at home against West Jefferson. Indian Lake travels to Upper Scioto Valley on Wednesday.
