The Bellefontaine’s boys and girls track and field teams continued to collect hardware after standout performances Friday at the Kenton Relays. The Chieftain boys won the six-team meet, while the Chieftain girls took runner-up honors.
“We braved the miserable conditions and performed well,” said BHS head coach Ben Davis. “It was an all-around nice team effort. We look forward to sunny and dry days.”
Bellefontaine’s boys claimed the top spot with 94 points, host Kenton edged Upper Sandusky 78-77 for second place, Indian Lake came in fourth with 57 points, Riverdale was fifth with 33 points and Margaretta came in sixth with 28 points.
