Benjamin Logan’s boys basketball team used a third-quarter surge to help put away host Graham 62-53 on Friday in a Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division matchup.
The Raiders improve to 4-1 on the season and 2-1 in the CBC Mad River, while the Falcons suffer their first loss and fall to 3-1, 1-1.
Ben Logan started with a 12-11 lead after the opening quarter. Graham clipped Ben Logan 19-18 in the second quarter to knot the game at 30-30 entering halftime.
The Raiders took over the game in the third quarter with a 21-11 run. That boosted them to a 51-41 cushion. Graham was able to take the quarter 12-11, but couldn’t get back in front.
Kaden Arn fueled the Raiders with 20 points, Davontae Fahle tallied 13 points, Trey Allen had 12 points and Keaghan Stahler added nine points.
In junior varsity action, Ben Logan edged Graham 61-57. Kam Allen led the Raiders with 17 points and E.J. Martin had 13 points. Ben Logan hosts Springfield Shawnee on Tuesday for another CBC contest.
