Benjamin Logan’s varsity volleyball team bounced Springfield Shawnee 25-11, 25-18, 25-5 on Thursday.
The Raiders are now 12-2 on the season.
Lily Blackburn had 12 kills to help lead the Raiders in the win. Makayla Williamson contributed nine kills, Mia Stahler had seven aces and Brielle Moorhouse added six aces.
The junior varsity Raiders also beat the Braves.
Ben Logan is back in action Tuesday at home against Tecumseh.
Tigers breeze past Rams
West Liberty-Salem’s varsity volleyball team coasted past Greeneview 25-20, 25-20, 25-21 on Thursday.
The Tigers are now 9-2 overall and 8-2 in the Ohio Heritage Conference.
Bailey Poppe posted 18 kills, 15 digs, 16 assists and was 11-11 serving with three aces for the Tigers, Ava Poppe had four kills and six digs and was 10-12 serving, Olivia Wilcox tallied 17 digs and was 11-11 serving with one ace, Chaley Wade had six kills and six digs, Briley Sullivan had two kills and three digs, Naomi Cole tallied three blocks, two kills and two digs, Londyn Loveless had 15 assists, seven digs and was 12-13 serving with two aces and Leah Ropp had eight kills, 13 digs, was 17-17 serving with two aces.
The junior varsity Tigers won 25-13, 25-23.
For the JV Tigers, Lyndee Harrison was 37-37 setting with 15 assists and had three aces, Josie Hostetler had four digs, four kills and two aces, Ellah Heminger had six kills, Marisa Smith tallied five digs, Bexley Wilcoxon had three kills, two aces and two digs, Cara Deam had five digs and Reagan Bradford had two kills.

Lakers fall to London
Indian Lake’s volleyball team was tripped up by London 25-15, 25-11, 25-20 on Wednesday.
The Lakers are now 8-5 on the season. London improves to 9-2.
For the Lakers, Stephanie Altstaetter was 15-17 hitting with three kills and had nine assists and four digs, Halle Roby was 12-12 serving and had three kills, 12 assists and five digs, Madison Brentlinger had five kills, Ally Kinney was 11-11 serving with two aces and had four kills and four digs, Katie Roby was 10-10 serving with two aces and had 18 digs.
The junior varsity Lakers were defeated 25-11, 25-20.
For IL’s reserves, Alex Kinney was 9-9 serving and 13-14 setting, Makenna Hurley was 13-15 setting with three assists, Annie Rapp had five digs and two kills, Riley Ross had eight digs and Gillian Taylor and Lilly Wickline each had two kills.
The Lakers host Jonathan Alder on Tuesday.
Pirates derailed by Bethel
Riverside’s varsity volleyball team lost to Bethel 25-12, 25-18, 25-20 on Thursday.
Alaina Snow had 12 assists, seven kills and two blocks for the pirates, Jade Copas had five kills and 12 digs and Aubree Huston led the team in serves received.
The junior varsity Pirates lost 25-19, 25-13. Zoey Ransbottom had seven digs and two kills, Shaye McGill had six assists, Gillian Knight had two kills, Shasta Dunn recorded two digs, Riley Dillon had five digs and Briana Bradley added three blocks and three kills for the Pirates.
