A tenacious senior class unafraid of challenges is poised to bring about change in its community, student leaders and faculty reminded graduates Friday during 2018 commencement exercises at Benjamin Logan High School.

A total of 130 seniors accepted diplomas during the 48th commencement exercises at Ben Logan.
In all, college-bound seniors earned over $4 million in combined, total scholarships, according to school administrators.
And this particular graduating class of Raider graduates is uniquely qualified to bring about change in the world, said Ray McCormick, valedictorian of the 2018 class.
“There is no group of people that I trust more to change the world than this class,” he said.
Ray is the son of Todd and Amy McCormick. He will be attending Georgetown University and majoring in international politics.
