Benjamin Logan’s softball team came up with the hits when it needed them Tuesday to help edge visiting Northwestern 3-2 in a Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division contest.

The Raiders split with the Warriors after losing 7-0 on Monday. Ben Logan is now 4-1 overall and 2-1 in the Mad River division, while Northwestern suffers its first loss of the season at 5-1, 1-1.
“We had a great team effort,” said BL head coach John Stahl. “We haven’t put everything together yet, but we are getting better.
“Kinzie Jones pitched a super game and kept Northwestern off balance all night.”
