After losing 1-0 to Tecumseh on Monday, Bellefontaine’s baseball team flipped that result Tuesday and came away with a 1-0 victory at Blue Jacket Park in a Central Buckeye Conference Kenton Trail matchup.
The Chieftains improve their record to 6-2 overall and 2-1 in the CBC. The Arrows drop to 2-5, 1-1.
Bellefontaine received a strong pitching effort from senior Tyler Jones, who has committed to play at the University of Dayton. The hard-throwing right-hander tossed a complete-game three-hitter with nine strikeouts. He did not allow a walk.
