Tecumseh drops to 5-2, 0-2.
“We played well overall and got timely hits when we needed to,” said Bellefontaine head coach Katie Buffkin. “We were also able to capitalize on three walks, three hit batters and three errors.”
The game was tied 1-1 after three innings before BHS broke it open with a five-run fourth frame.
Tecumseh scored a run in the top of the sixth to make the score 6-2, but the Chiefs answered with three runs in the bottom of the sixth to take a commanding 9-2 advantage.
