Benjamin Logan’s boys soccer team suffered a tough loss to Kenton in the first round of the Raiders’ Quest Cup tournament Friday, but bounced back with a win over Fairlawn in the consolation game Sunday.
The final two games were postponed Saturday night and moved to Sunday. Wet field conditions remained at Ben Logan on Sunday and that forced a switch to the games being played at Bellefontaine.
In Friday’s semifinal round, the Raiders and Kenton were tied 2-2 at the end of regulation. The contest was then decided on a penalty kick shootout, with Kenton prevailing 6-5 on the second kicker of sudden death.
Ben Logan took an early 1-0 lead when Rylan Studebaker scored off an assist from Timmy Gerholdt.
