During his last meeting as interim treasurer, Eric Adelsberger offered the Benjamin Logan Board of Education a detailed overview Monday of the district’s finances.
The board then approved temporary appropriations for fiscal year 2017 in the amount of $21,782,741, with $17,572,447 in the general fund.
Officials praised Mr. Adelsberger for his dual services the past six months as treasurer for both Ben Logan and Ohio Hi-Point Career Center
Board President Bill Ramsey shared the board’s appreciation for Mr. Adelsberger “stepping in in a pinch,” and for all his help and attention to detail.
Mandy France steps into the position in July, replacing Robert Kuehnle, who left the district at the end of January.
The board accepted the resignation of high school social studies teacher Carleton Cotner for further employment and issued one-year certified contracts to Matthew McCurdy, as Mr. Cotner’s replacement; Sarah Smith, seventh-grade language arts; and Tyler Young, elementary music teacher.
