Bellefontaine’s girls swim team started the postseason off with a bang Saturday, winning the sectional meet at Trotwood Madison and qualify to the districts in numerous events.
“Performances like our team had this weekend make it all worth it,” said Bellefontaine head coach Sharon Lewis. “The time, effort and productive struggle resulted in our swimmers reaching new heights. Watching these athletes drive forward through each race and never settle shows a lot about our team.”
Ben Logan’s girls team also had a stellar day Saturday by qualifying to the district meet in two individual events and one relay event.
The Raiders’ Macy Arn advanced in both the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle.
She was second in the 50 freestyle and third in the 100 freestyle, setting a new school record.
