Barry Wayne Parker, 65, died Feb. 23, 2019, in Jacksonville, Fla.
He was born April 17, 1953, and was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Parker; and a son, James Ausmus.
He was a disabled American veteran, retired from the United States Navy. He traveled extensively as both a military dependent and during his enlistment. He was a great father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle, father-in-law, husband and friend. Barry was an accomplished musician and photographer and a decorated Night Elf Hunter in World of Warcraft.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Parker Ausmus Hawkins; daughters, April (Sean Smith) Parker and Jessica (Tommy)Campbell; his mother, Mary Lou Lair Parker (Dale) Hudson; sister. Holly (Terry) Racer; brother, Larry (Toni Dellaposta) Parker; daughter-in-law, Carmen Ausmus; and four grandsons Draven and Dustin Delgross and Damien and Devin Ausmus; three granddaughters, Destiny (Sean) Howard and Dakota and Daelynne Ausmus; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Barry’s wish was to be cremated, his ashes to be spread with his son’s and where his family spent a lot of time in his youth in South Carolina.
