A Benjamin Logan school official lost his job and nearly faced criminal charges for mishandling of money.
The school board on Monday accepted the resignation of Cameron Saylor from his position as assistant treasurer, according to a report filed with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.
Saylor, 28, was asked to submit his resignation Feb. 13 for multiple issues related to job performance, including alleged negligence in paying employee insurance.
Logan County Sheriff Randy Dodds said Tuesday afternoon the investigation into missing money has now been closed and no criminal charges will be filed against Saylor.
